Theodore is the Meechie™ all other Meechies™ look up to. This is not to say he is the most important, but he holds a fatherly-like place in all Meechie™ hearts. Tig, in his blue-flower hat, is the Meechie™ who seems to be everywhere at once communicating and solving problems. Daisy is the sister Meechie™ to Theodore. She is young and sweet, helpful with tasks and doesn't let one forget how to have fun. The other Meechies™ have their special talents and traits that benefit all Meechies™. Some are nurturing, some are clever, while others are creative and quick of wit.

Meechieland™ is not really a far off place, though some people have trouble reaching it. This is often because they are so blinded by bad feelings, they are not able to see the main path to Meechieland™, which is Goodness. Even so, Meechies™ have been known to squeeze a little of their goodness into the darkest of places. Meechieland™ is usually over the next big green hill and through the snug valley that is nestled right beyond it. However you find it, you know you've reached Meechieland™ by the intense sunbright and the most radiant of colors. You know you are really there when you see the Rainbow River winding its way through the land, watering the great abundance of Meecherry trees. Meecherries are the food of the Meechies™ - bright, sweet and nourishing. You can find your way into Meechieland™ very unexpectedly. This is because you have been unknowingly beckoned. Either the Meechies™ need your help or you need theirs. Often times, both Meechie™ and you need each other's help.

After establishing a friendship with the Meechies™, you are friends for life. Then, you can truly understand the goodness and happiness in both their world and yours.

Michelle Skrabut is a native New Yorker who relocated to sunny California when she was seventeen. She has always found enjoyment in drawing from the time she could hold a pencil. Michelle is now a graphic illustrator and advertising consultant. Recently, she has been concentrating her efforts on increasing children's awareness of these fuzzy little lovable characters called Meechies™.

Meechies™ went through several name changes over the years, such as "Toodles" and "Dondies." These little guys emerged from Ms. Skrabut's imagination when she was about ten years old. She created these warm and huggable characters to keep her company soon after losing her older sister to a car accident. Michelle and her Meechies became constant companions, striving for truth and justice, always doing the right thing, no matter how difficult or painful it may have been. Meechies™ were her reliable friends, always there, providing unconditional comfort and companionship. As the years passed, Ms. Skrabut began to transform her imagination into reality in hopes that others might share in the secure, yet fun, world of Meechies™.
